A Glass Half Full of Stuff to Read

The Cat Has Got My Tongue

The cat has got my tongue

I'm literally lost for words

He thought it was a mouth fish

And snatched it like a bird

He had it for his supper

He purred when he done

While I just sat there feeling sad

As silent as a nun

But my tongue got its revenge

It made that cat sound clever

By wriggling to its mouth and saying

“No more fish for me forever!”

The Cat has got my Tongue
