A Glass Half Full of Stuff to Read

Dream Sponge

I dreamed that my pillow

Was really a dream sponge

That absorbed all my night thoughts

As I lay in my bed

Visions in slumber

That I could not remember

Which must have leaked out of

The dream pipes in my head

And when I woke up

So hard did I squeeze it

The pillow exploded

And covered my floor

Not with dreams but with feathers

And then I remembered

My dream that I dreamed

The night before.
