A Glass Half Full of Stuff to Read

Easter Egg Island

Somewhere in the South Pacific

In the middle of the sea

There's an island filled with magic chickens

That lay chocolate eggs for me

And I am the Easter Bunny

The master of the hunt for eggs

Wrapped in foil and brightly coloured

A workout for the brains and legs

I hop here on my island

Among the bunny-shaped stone statues

While my chickens squeeze out their chocolate treats

And I invent the clues

For adventurers when they turn up

Upon Easter Egg Island's shores

Who come looking for as many eggs

As their boats can possibly store

But I can't leave my native land

You could say it fits me like a glove

Because I've eaten one chocolate egg too many

Now can't move to spread the Easter love.
