A Glass Half Full of Stuff to Read

Globe Trotter

I travelled the world

From the North to the South

I travelled the world

From the East to the West

I travelled across oceans

The deserts

The rest

And what did I see?

I saw the sun rise

While I stood in five continents

I saw the sun set

From the highest peaks

But the trip didn't take me years

Take me months

Even weeks

And how did I travel?

I travelled by foot

I walked all the way

I travelled by foot

A real globetrotter

Back to my room

Inside my house

Where on my globe I totter.
