A Glass Half Full of Stuff to Read

Rubber Robber

Once upon a time

There was a rubber robber

And not the kind that steals

Stationary supplies

But a criminal with rubber bones

Who'd steal things like

Wallets, bags and mobile phones

Then bounce away before your eyes

Byoing, byoing, byoing

Snatch, scream, gone

Rubber Robber in the skies

Victims with their necks craned upwards

Could not believe their eyes

Now the policemen had a problem

They couldn't bounce like he

So they made a net

And draped it over

Every building in the big city

At first it worked

They reeled him in

But soon their scheme did fail

Because when they threw him in his cell

He bounced through the roof of the jail!
