A Glass Half Full of Stuff to Read

Continental Lift

Many wish the sun was shining

When clouds gather and cover the star

But I've discovered a way

To control the weather

And the clouds can stay where they are

No need for a weather controlling machine

All we need are pistons and pumps

Placed underneath our countries

And continents

To cure our grey day grumps

When all is in place a button is pressed

And soon the sun is our gift

As we head upwards

Above the clouds

Riding high on a country-sized lift.
