A Glass Half Full of Stuff to Read

Feeling on Top of the World

A man finally made it

To the top of the world

To feel what there was to be felt

He got down on his knees

To feel with more ease

When in something smelly he knelt

He let out cry

He let out a sigh

“Some dog has been here no doubt”

His trousers were covered

Then he slipped and discovered

That he was beginning to fall

Off the top of the earth

Getting farther from north

And no one could hear him call

His very last words

But a few birds heard

“I don't feel happy at all!”
