A Glass Half Full of Stuff to Read

Clever Clogs

I bought myself some clever clogs

(Not the kind of shoes for jogs)

I hoped they'd make me smart

Some wooden shoes

That I could use

To give my brain a kick start

Carved from the wood of a magic tree

Home to the smartest owl family

By a Dutchman with an IQ high

Who lives in a cottage in Braniac Bay

(Where Einstein once had a holiday)

Wearing a monocle in his eye

So I put on my magic shoes

My clippity clop I'm smarter than yous

(Or at least I hoped I'd be)

But all that happened was

I felt my feet buzz

Now my toes are smarter than the rest of me.
